Cookie policy

This policy explains the cookies on jam21.digital, and how to allow or refuse them.

Last updated 13 October 2026. Gary Hili, trading as JAM 21.

Before you choose

The site sets no cookie of its own to run, and it does not load Google Analytics until you allow it. There are no advertising cookies.

Remembering your choice

Allow or refuse is stored in this browser under the name jam21-analytics. That record is local storage, not a cookie, so refusing analytics does not itself set one. It stays until you change it on this page, or until you clear site data for jam21.digital. It is not sent to Google.

Analytics cookies

If you allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4. Google then sets these first-party cookies on jam21.digital:

  • _ga. Used to tell one browser from another. It expires after two years.
  • _ga_ followed by the measurement ID. Used to keep a visit going and to measure how long a page stays in the foreground. It expires after two years.

We use them to see which pages are visited, how long people stay, and whether the discovery form is started, a send is attempted, and the note actually goes out. The name, email, company and message you type are not sent to Google. How Google handles that data is described in its privacy policy (opens in a new tab) and cookie information (opens in a new tab).

Your choice

A notice at the bottom of the site asks you to allow or refuse analytics the first time you visit. You can change that here. Turning analytics off deletes the _ga cookies and loads the page again without Google.

This browser has not chosen yet.

Server logs

The host that serves the pages may keep ordinary technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, as part of running the site. Those logs are not cookies. How the discovery form is handled is in the privacy note.

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how long people stay, and whether the discovery form is started and sent. The words in the form are not included. Details are in the cookie policy.
